Present
Inspired by Nehru
Tomorrow has come,
now to recall to me days,
days of past present tense
bringing the sightless trip to it’s destination.
Present isn’t always the combination
of truth and materialization
Now is the cost of the ticket
and is the distance that truth
had to travel
between then
and discovery.
What we discover
along the way is reality,
the reality of it all,
to accept self rebellion and focus,
the clarity when it was blurred or unsightly
binds me to the price
and becomes my constitution
