If the sky parted and the clouds missed you,
would it still be the atmosphere that belonged apart of you and would you still find the sun in my eyes, if the sky was lonely for you and I,
we couldn't miss if it was raining those same thoughts, that broke when it's new like the first drops of love that filled my heart and naked soul,
the first sight of you divides and falls before the clouds could clothe you,
I breathe and it's true if the sky were ever lonely
it was for you and I
Without Words,Without Goodbye,
you can say words came easy without hearing a sound if it poured reason without tears
and no end came with goodbye when we were still
standing the rain, without words you cry by my side, still showing no one without easing your pain
on the edge of a river like lightning before
there's a beginning before there's sight
and no one can run the distance of the river without heading for a side finding refuge in the waters, under the hail of words
and we turn again,it's the last of the bottle and
a message reads
if I had no word to a blind journey
down a stream of emotions
and standing in front of my eyes was only you
I'd bare my thoughts and comfort a day that fell
short of words

يستمرّ أن يرتفع دون يوم أنّ الشمس ثبت على شيء جميلة,
إن اليوم أصبح برّون دون هو يعتنق,
جميلة أخذ هو مكان,

This "Learning Recitation" video was created to illustrate the art of poetry recitation for Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest. Along with the Teacher’s Guide, Audio Guide, and Judge’s Guide, use the video and companion guide to foster classroom discussion. Students can watch these National Final recitations and evaluate the strengths (and weaknesses!) of each, according to Poetry Out Loud evaluation criteria. As suggested in the Teacher’s Guide, discuss the merits of these performances, which ones the students like best and why and how the poems are different when read versus recited. With this practice, students will be better equipped to peer-review recitations and refine their own performances.

Arts leaders need to address the many areas of impact the arts have on community development. Representatives from several of these areas have asked for more formalized programs to address their needs. As such, we have developed several targeted networks that are represented by national councils to address specific issues for their constituent groups, provide insight and direction for programs and tools, and offer an opportunity for leaders from across the country to become directly involved on a national level. Targeted networks represented include:
Arts Education NetworkLearning and participation in music, dance, theater, and the visual arts are vital to the development of our children and our communities. Through advocacy, research, partnerships, and professional development, Americans for the Arts strives to provide and secure more resources and support for arts education through the Arts Education Network.
Business Volunteers for the Arts®
Business Volunteers for the Arts® (BVA) is a core program of Americans for the Arts' national private sector network. The BVA program is operated in 13 locations around the United States with the goals of:
