About the Book
Poetry By Jocelyn Shaw Forecast Loose, shimmering pearls of a flower unfurled around a budding midriff he carried like a artisan's fine jewel with the echo of Eb's voice of masculinity. It was midnight and alone was days away from the raging storm and sea of clouds that arted the lover's vacation as they had shared what had been dreamy, pleasured evenings. Alone was a time of serene nights baking Eb's skin with clothed bed linens that shadowed his scented torso, the same scent that Emystary held like a bouquet after their last night and had been just as edible as the gift from the florist when Eb departed on his day out. A lover's scent sunk deeper than attraction into the leaves of Emystary's journal she kept and the letters that stood like the pearls of Eb's flowering midriff, he now was massaging with a fine oil cologne, his hands silhouetting the walk and texture of his drenched muscles, toned, graceful movements into the night… The romance between the two, Eb and Emystary, curved the season of night. The pocket of the chamber, held the passion and distance of their friendship while apart. Joining their thoughts, serenaded the words and letters which thickened not only the loins but veins of stationary. The stroke was tamed by a gentled longingness which bathed Emystary Lay deep, wound by Eb's presence in her thoughts, Emystary fancied the real human element of their breaths combined on this night a mutual feeling of Eb. Why not answer the coiled air and spirit that breathed him the rest of the night? Was it too soon after his departure? Or missing was the foreplay that lay down in the hips and tier of dances and steps broken, or undone in her touch.
